This Island Treasure got its name from Hawaii's Princess Kaiulani who compared the lei's exotic beauty to the peacocks that roamed her garden. The Pikake blossom is known for its intoxicating fragrance.  A single  Rope Pikake lei requires over 700 blossoms and is very difficult to string.
