Shipping imperfections are easily rectified. To freshen your lei after its trip from Hawaii:

- Sprinkle or lightly spray* the lei with cool water.
- Place a damp paper towel onto the bottom of the plastic bag provided.
- Place your sprinkled lei in the plastic bag and on the damp paper towel.
- Allow the paper towel to absorb any excess water remaining on the lei.
- Place the plastic bag containing the lei in a refrigerator for a few hours before wearing.
- Before wearing your lei, remove from the refrigerator and pat dry any excess water.

*  Lei made strictly from the Dendrobium orchid will revive more completely if submersed  for a few moments in cool water, rather than just sprinkled or lightly sprayed.  Only the  Designer Lei, except for the Crown Rope, and the Double Dendrobium Orchid lei are made strictly from the Dendrobium orchid.
