Shipping imperfections are easily rectified. To freshen your lei after its trip from Hawaii:

- Do not sprinkle with water.
- Place a dry paper towel onto the bottom of the plastic bag provided.
- Place your Pikake lei in the plastic bag on the dry paper towel.
- Use a second paper towel to completely cover your lei to protect it from any moisture.
- Place the plastic bag containing the lei in a refrigerator for a few hours before wearing.
- Pikake will not do well if handled excessively or if moisture accumulates on its petals.
